In the courtyard of the Holy Church of Panagia Odigitria, in Kritsa, there is a simple but elegant memorial dedicated to the officers of the Greek Army who came from the village and died fighting during the Asia Minor Campaign. The memorial resembles an ancient Greek pilaster, on the front of which the contemporary “Lato” Association has added a plaque to commemorate the victims of the World War II.
