The Avenue of Heroes is a monumental ensemble with 21 marble busts of heroes of the Greek Revolution; the placement of the busts began in 1937 and was completed in 2005. It was unveiled on March 24th, 1937, as part of the celebration of the anniversary of the Greek War of Independence during the premiership of Ioannis Metaxas. The names of the busts are: 1.
