This work of art was created by the sculptor Stratis I. Filippotis from Tinos in 1982. It was then placed in the courtyard of the Church of Agios Konstantinos in Omonia. It is the bust of Bishop Anthimos Skalistiris of Elos, who had a vigorous, albeit brief due to his untimely death, participation in the Greek War of Independence. The bust is accompanied by an epigraph engraved on the pedestal: “Anthimos Skalistiris, Bishop of Elos. As long as the Sun will shine and wash the Earth and as long as the Sea will crown the shores of Morea in all the cities, villages and islands of Greece, people inside the churches and outside of them will hail the worthy and great Archpriest Bishop of Elos, Laconia, fighter against the Turks and protector of 1821”. On the left of the bust is the sculptor's signature: “S. I. Filippotis 1982”.
